When I painted this, it wasn’t planned. I was simply pushing paint around, leftovers, old panels, no agenda. I wasn’t trying to capture anything specific. But somewhere in the stillness of that moment, this peaceful little soul appeared. 
Deep in my thoughts recently. I’m overwhelmed in grief.
Grief has many stories. Some wrapped in faith, others in questions. But when the noise gets too much, I return to this idea. That perhaps, when we let go of needing to know, we find them again in the stillness.
This is where they are. A quiet place.
Somewhere safe.Free from pain. Free from time. A place with no ticking clock, no “one last time,” no goodbyes.
Just rest. Just peace. Just love, forever folding in on itself.
